Operators Workshop

The annual NTWWA Operators Workshop is an important opportunity for operators to see a variety of presentations on the operation of northern water, wastewater and solid waste systems. The workshop consists of hands-on sessions of practical value for operators. Continuing Education Credits are earned for attending the conference and the workshop and offer a good way of maintaining certification.

Each year, operators from a  number of  Nunavut and NWT communities compete for the Great Northern Drinking Water Contest trophy.  More than once there has been a tie for having the best drinking water and the judges have had to devise ways of deciding which community should take home the coveted trophy!
