The Association aims to encourage a friendly exchange of information in an effort to support continuous improvements to the provision of water and waste services provided to the northern public.
The NTWWA mission is:
the advancement of knowledge in the design, construction, operation, and management of water works, wastewater treatment and disposal works, and solid waste site works;
the encouragement amongst its members of a friendly exchange of information and experience in an effort to continuously improve the provision of water and sanitation services provided to the public; and
the improvement of the professional status of all personnel engaged in any aspect of the provision of water and sanitation services to the public.
Upcoming Events and Programs
2022 Conference
NTWWA's 2020 and 2021 conferences, trade shows and operators workshops were cancelled due to Covid-19 restrictions on travel. Now, after this long wait, the NTWWA conference and the associated activities are back! Things will be taking place in Yellowknife from November 14 to 18, 2022. The conference, trade show, Drinking Water Contest and AGM will take place November 14 to 16 at the Explorer Hotel in Yellowknife. The Operators Workshop will take place November 17 and 18 at the Quality Inn (which used to be the Yellowknife Inn). We are all looking forward to seeing everyone again. We hope you will join us in Yellowknife in November!
